There's a hole in daddy's arm...

On the way to lunch today, I was listening to WEVL and caught the tail end of an R&B cover version of John Prine's "Sam Stone." A perfunctory glance around the internets led me to conclude that the artist most likely responsible for this is one Swamp Dogg, who recorded a cover version in 1972 on the now-defunct Cream records.

Will someone add this to Cab Calloway's cover of "If I Were A Rich Man" on the list of things I must obtain copies of?
