I love the growly "r" in Grizzlies.

What you need is headphones.

It probably seems out of context without thumpin' bass, 18,000 screaming fans, and fog-n-laser-n-pyro effects. I love how Stoudamire is listed as "guard" and Miller is listed as "other guard."

Also that one of the guards is ten inches taller than the other.

I like it. I think it works. I agree with Owlet...the growl rocks.

But damn...would it kill them if they could call them "Power Forward" and "Point Guard"? Or maybe "the 2", "the 3"...I dunno. "Other Guard" just sounds like, "oh yeah. Him too."

Just a couple of things, though. When you said the first three names, especially Tsakalidis, you kinda rushed through it, and it didn't quite sound as "announcer-powerful" as you could've made it sound. I think it'd be better if you kinda draw out the syllables more. Jones' and Gasol's were done perfectly, imo.

Yeah--that did feed a little rushed. I need to take a little time to imagine crowd reaction and giant man rushing onto the court while saying names.

I'm wondering how Tsakalidis' Mom called him from over the Agean when he was in trouble as a kid? It just doesn't resound like it should.

YEA!!!

I was cheering in my computer chair and I don't even know what an other guard or a forward does! And I want season tickets REALLY BAD!!! I want to see it unfold, what is it? Gotta see it unfold.

And now, seeing my "subject" typed as such, I am reminded of School House Rock...memories.
