Nobody better mix this with Dr. Pepper.

How could I get my paws on some Liqueur de Violette (click "Violette" on the main page--site is in French)?

Says their products are exported to England, so if I see some you can get your paws on it through me. Rillyrillyrilly can't make that a promise, but.

I've seen it in online UK liquor shops, and supposedly Sally Clarke sells it in the shop next to her restaurant in London.

A friend of mine here in Memphis is a transplant from the UK, and his brother is coincidentally leaving tomorrow (that's today to you) for a long weekend trip. I've asked if he can acquire some for me, but I'm thinking it's unlikely. At least for this trip.

It's a violet liqueur, right?

Can you get Parfait D'amour? It's pretty rare overhere but...still...probably similar.

Currently I'm surviving on a minature of Pd'A I inhereted when the Boy's grandad died a few months back. THat's not as icky as it sounds.

I've not seen P d'A in these parts, but then I haven't been looking since I discovered such a thing existed. With the recent introduction of weird-ass liqueurs (Hypnotiq?) it might be more available these days. I've got an email in to the most widely stocked liquor store in this half of the state, but they haven't responded.

I actually ran across a bottle of Marie Brizzard Parfait Amour (they left out the d' for some reason) yesterday in the liquor store. It tastes more like triple sec than violets, but could make for some interesting purple floral margaritas.
