The Best Christmas Present You'll Get--

iTunes is giving away free copies of John Hodgman's The Areas of My Expertise. Don't know how long the promotion will last, but it's definitely worth checking out, as the print versions don't prominently feature Jonathan Coulton singing the theme song, as well as dramatic readings of the Jokes That Have Never Produced Laughter.

Check it out!

I need to come up with an actual gay icon so you can tell the difference.

I can't find a link to the free download - can you help?

Damn me and my slow typin' fingers!

I love how it's in the 'self-improvement' section.

1. Open iTunes
2. Go to the music store
3. Search for "Hodgman"
4. Check the price

I've seen a couple of direct links to it, but those never work for me. I'm not sure why this promotion is taking place, exactly. The Apple-Hodgman link is clear (he is a PC, after all), but otherwise, it seems awfully generous.
