A moment of clarity
Apr. 8th, 2006 07:24 amWith new details on Bush's war on Freedom emerging every day, I become disheartened that our elected representatives are failing in their obligation to provide a check on executive power, a failing that is only going to bite them in the collective rear end when "their man" isn't in the White House anymore. With representatives of the NSA spying on everyone subversive (lemme give a shout out to the data miners reading this blog--when you come to lock me in your secret prison, try not to trash the place okay?) in clear violation of the 4th amendment, government sanctioning of religion (and mind you, I'm a churchgoing man), and outright political corruption and treasonous actions reaching into the highest office in the country, I wonder about the future of this country for our children.
The solution to our nation's lack of moral compass suddenly became apparent this morning. Someone other than James Guckert needs to give George W. Bush a blowjob.
This is the thesis statement for my little essay, and the supporting facts I'm leaving in the hands of you, dear reader. They should be pretty obvious.
