Summary of the last few days of [livejournal.com profile] samethreechords's LJ friends page.

[livejournal.com profile] snowy_owlet's friends know a little bit about Greek Mythology. You can now download a CAT TOWN RINGTONE to your cell phone for free, unless you have Verizon. Eel's hearts beat for ages after you cut them out. [livejournal.com profile] genarti is tall. Ivy made it back okay. You apparently really like Wonkette.

Add Washington to the states with the "No Gay Marriage" law, and further prevents men who've had vasectomies from ever getting married either. [livejournal.com profile] drewlyn finished up his sermon DAYS ago. [livejournal.com profile] candiceanne is dropping not-so-subtle hints. David Sedaris is coming to Memphis in October. We all still miss Roup.

[livejournal.com profile] derspatchel's dad once tried to make him play "Stairway to Heaven" on the church organ on children's sunday. Also, he has fond remembrances of Annie. [livejournal.com profile] pet_the_llama is tired. Squirrels covered every possible surface, and the Geneva conventions apparently don't apply to robots. Yet.

[livejournal.com profile] mcduff is suffering a crisis of faith, of sorts. [livejournal.com profile] granuaile is hot. You could be KILLED BY A TAPE MEASURE. [livejournal.com profile] ticket_monkey's Google Ad's eerily reflect his life.

Bird flu has yet to annihilate the population at large. Neither have black holes.

[livejournal.com profile] snowy_owlet made an avocado frittata for dinner that served 128, apparently. She'll be feasting on leftover egg product for months. [livejournal.com profile] ticket_monkey's eyes burned for about half an hour after an industiral accident. Spellcheck replaces "Scotsdale" with "scrotal." [livejournal.com profile] gingerninja has found a metaphor in her woodshed, and had read more books than I have this summer. Everyone appears to be cooking but me.

The Rolling Stones are coming to Missoula. Boston had an opening for an asdfasdfasdf. [livejournal.com profile] hemlock_martini needs help not building a theremin. [livejournal.com profile] darkrow's computer is now fast, but not as fast as time. Bill and [livejournal.com profile] mybrain drove to Chicago. [livejournal.com profile] loree_borealis digs potlucks.

[livejournal.com profile] crankyliberal took the bar exam, part of which involved flag-waving. Several people are considering new hair colors. New copy-protected DVD's don't play in a PS2. It's hot everywhere.

Harry Potter will be showing his wang in Equus KITTY! Also PUPPY! [livejournal.com profile] littlemissloony updated her LJ. Porn is better than erotica. Mary had a little lamb. It was very white. [livejournal.com profile] nevah_entitar is grounded again, just like my own children. A consulting futurist is attending a conference in Toronto this weekend. There was apparently a hilarious incident involving [livejournal.com profile] the_red_baron and a wasp.

[livejournal.com profile] thurdl01 persists in his mission to watch bad movies. Schrodinger is apparently a popular name for cats among the witty. Microsoft added a "Don't Be Evil" clause to its mission statement. [livejournal.com profile] miriyami's car died. Carry On Cleo is apparently available on DVD in the UK. [livejournal.com profile] darkrow had a new LJ client, and after typing this, I envy him. [livejournal.com profile] snowy_owlet is still looking for a job, ignoring the obvious job of selling leftover Avocado Frittata on the streets of Houston.

[livejournal.com profile] derspatchel has lost all fashion sense, wearing black shorts, white socks, and black shoes to a showing of Jaws. If you hurry back, you can make Robby's birthday dinner.

Is anyone interested in a weekly wrap-up, like the one I did earlier of [livejournal.com profile] samethreechords's friends page? In the interest of maintaining privacy I'd not summarize anything that was friends-only or otherwise filtered, and I'd leave out memes, unless there was a clever way to summarize 'em. Mind you, I might be a little mocking, or get things wrong, and there's the possibility that a single-sentence summary of a long heartfelt post might seem trivializing, and you could get your feelings hurt unintentionally. No guarantees--it might be a really busy week or I might lose internet access somehow, but I think it'd be fun to try for a while.

Anyway, post "yeas" or "nays" or "yea, but leave me out of the summary" in comments.
