Hannanibal Reisling
Dec. 16th, 2006 11:39 pmLast night I started reading Thomas Harris' latest tour-de-force, Hannibal Rising. I finished it this morning after a full night's sleep, thanks to the magic of really large print and really short sentences.
If you're interested, it's neither as bad as Hannibal, nor as good as either Red Dragon or The Silence of The Lambs. The plot is predictable, but not nearly as rife with killer pigs and using cast-iron skillets to contact the spirits of the dead as Hannibal was, and it's a pleasant enough diversion to fill four or so hours.
