Last night I dreamed that I won four million dollars in a church lottery machine, which is like a detergent vending machine at the laundromat only you occasionally win money or something. I'd been at the church (one of those big mega churches) singing in at their halftime show because my agent couldn't get me out of it, and there was a church lottery machine in the green room. I'd put my coin in (I don't think it was any standard U.S. denomination), and the machine jammed and I had to get someone to help me move the levers.
When all the labor was finished, the machine spilled out a bunch of coins as if someone had dropped a cartoon money bag on the ground, then a light came on saying to call the attendant, who informed me that I'd won four million dollars. Then, during the halftime show, the preacher congratulated me on the platform at the fifty yard line. For some reason, the open air stadium had a twenty-foot-wide bridge across middle of it, high in the air.
Of couse, I had to split the winnings with the friend who helped me out, and taxes took out another half after that, but I was left with a million and I subsequently paid off the house and all the credit cards and became a philanthropist and donated money to people whose websites amuse me.
Then I woke up and had to come to work.
