Did I say my posts would become less disjointed? I lied.

• Last week I got a phone call from the dry cleaners saying that they'd accidentally given two pairs of my pants to someone else back in March--I just figured they'd gotten misplaced in the normal laundry routine, so hey bonus pants!


• The watermelon that I got from the truck on the side of the road that looked so nice ended up having not quite ripened enough on the vine. Which should teach me to buy watermelons in October.


• I've moved the sofa down from upstairs, and the love seat from the other room, so I've got places to sit in the living room. No actual reason to sit there, but still, it's progress.


• I auditioned last night for a role in The Violet Hour, and somehow I got called back tonight. The part's a bit of a stretch for me (it was originally created for Mario Cantone, who is kinda the anti-me), so extra mojo would probably be in order.


• Appearing with Hodgman on November 20 will be Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me mainstay Roy Blount, Jr. Bonus!


• I believe I will be done with lasagna for a while, since I've got to eat the entire pan of it over the course of this week.
