•  The new iTunes visualizer is actually kinda awesome--I don't know if it's new with iTunes 8 or if it's just that I haven't been paying attention.
• The neighbors have either turned off or secured their wireless router. I guess I'll have to shell out the dollas to replace our old one; as paying $45 a month for internet I can't use isn't very a very productive use of money. In any case, this is being posted from a bar with free wifi and $2.75 Sierra Nevada Porter.
• Just to make a general announcement for those who haven't been privy to the goings-on of the last year or so: Mrs. Cwabs and I are getting a divorce. Like all divorces, the reasons for it are complicated, but the short version is that Mrs. Cwabs no longer wants to be married. I am various degrees of fine at the moment. We'll be selling the house, paying off all our debts (hopefully), and starting over as single people. The good news is that I will hopefully soon have both time and money to travel again. The bad news is that I will be losing someone that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, but honestly she hasn't been married to me in her heart for a long long time.

I think we'll be cool with the division of material things--I know divorces have a way of bringing out the worst in people, but that aspect of it is one of the few areas I'm optimistic about.
