Today I received an email informing me that the director of Fiddler On The Roof had changed from Shorey Walker to Gary John LaRosa. Working with a director who wasn't present at auditions (although his website seems to indicate that he's competent, and that the choreography will be Jerome Robbins'--yay squatting!) is a little unnerving. I guess you go to Anatevka with the cast you've got, and not necessarily the cast you'd wish to have.

There were also instructions to begin growing a beard as soon as possible.
