Quick update

In Mobile for a couple days.

Mrs. Cwabs birthday was yesterday--we went to Wintzell's last night (they told me to tell loreeborealis hi) where she ate 36 oysters, and a bowl of oyster stew. I ate 6 buffalo oysters (not bad, taste like what you'd expect) and 6 oysters Monterrey (taste like potato skins).

We were going to the beach today, but Mrs. Cwabs decided it would be an ordeal so we're gonna do something else instead.

We were watching Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel last night and the guy went to Wintzell's. He had the fried green tomatoes with crawfish sauce, and then he started in on trying to beat the 475 raw oysters in a hour record. He didn't make it.

The guy started over in the swamps of LA and had nutria, then to N'Awlins and stopped in on Tsopotoolous (sp, of course)--he had fried chicken livers, among other things--nothing traditional. Then on to Hattisburg, where he had racoon and 'possom at a soul food place, on the way to Mobile, he had chitterlings, then he went to Mobile. A nice little bit of history about Mobile. He went to Robertsdale and ate alligator and then on to Pensacola and had mullet and tried even the innards deep fried. Mullet innards didn't seem to taste very good.

I was glad that Mobile came out looking sweet, with in door plumbing and everything.

Hope Mrs. Cwabs had a nice birthday. Mom and Dad were so glad that you guys came.
