On Sunday the little cwab turned sixteen--so on Saturday night, while we were performing onstage, she threw herself a birthday party at the house, to which seventy people eventually showed up, bearing cash as a birthday present. I'm not sure when the birthday party as a source for micropayments allowing the children to quantify their popularity in terms of a cash amount thing happened, but I can't say I'm fond of it.

I am ever-so-slightly tempted to demand twenty bucks from everyone on the social networking friendslist for MY birthday, however. </sarcasm>

Finished The Taming of the Shrew on Sunday. Now I suppose I'll have to get a haircut, and lose this beautiful handlebar. I should probably start building a functional relationship with Chatterbox soon.

The director for A Streetcar Named Desire dropped out a week or so ago, with two weeks until opening, so Mrs. Cwabs took over. She's complaining a lot, but I think it seekritly feeds her ego.
