The groggy morning blues.

This morning as I was walking to brush my teeth, I got half a toothpick jammed 3/8" into my left big toe through the sock, on the side facing the index toe. I yelped, thinking I'd stubbed it on something, and brushed my teeth. Afterwards, I looked down to see that the toothpick was still lodged there, and pulled it out, marvelling at the depth of penetration. Shortly thereafter, my sock felt wet, and I noticed that the tip was turning red, so I pulled it off, washed the affected area, and put a bandage on the toe.

Later, I got spam from Ticketmaster offering me premium seats to see Sinbad.
