• I downloaded the demo of Patapon yesterday. Like LocoRoco before it, it appears that this will be a worthwhile way to spend twenty bucks on diversions. Wondering if the demo of Harvey Birdman would be worth the immense size.
• There's a local restaurant called Bigfoot Lodge that has 34 oz Newcastle Draft for $6.50, and supposedly has similarly sized mixed fruity drinks for $10. While trying to find their website, I ran across an identically-named restaurant in California whose website features Bigfoot goatse (SFW, honest).
• I should finally get my laptop out of the shop tonight, which will enable me to surf the internet in the evenings on a device with more features than the iPhone, although frankly, for a substitute device, the iPhone has proven to be a fairly robust substitute.
• I sent the local food reviewer a link to my Memphis Barbecue Map, so I expect the culinary flamewar to begin forthwith.

Does the Bigfoot Lodge also have a 4 lb. burger? If so, Mr. Skatie should visit. Ridiculously large burgers and drafts make him a happy man. Though a 4 lb. burger and 34 oz. draft in the same visit would make him a very sad man with a big stomachache.

It does indeed. In spite of my girth, I've never attempted any grandiose eating challenge. Although I've had my share of 34oz drafts.

EDIT: The actual site for the Memphis copy (http://www.eatatbigfoot.com/), without the Bigfoot Goatse, has a little John K.-esque intro animation, which is amusing in that the waiter character is the spitting image of the proprietor.

Mr. Skatie can eat large amounts of beef or pizza. I'm not sure why, but it's a talent of his. A local restaurant has a 1 lb. burger that Mr. Skatie had with fries and cheese curds.

...I think he'd ridden his bike over 40 miles that day and was very hungry. So I guess he'll ride his bike to Memphis and attempt that burger. :D
