After rehearsal today, I stopped by Costco to pick up some bread and giant bottles of shampoo and samples of three or four things. Of course, they have stacks and stacks of flat screen HDTVs for purchase, many of which feature crisp pictures of things like hot air balloon festivals and mountain ranges on the boxes to highlight the high resolution and the crisp detail of the sets.

But not Visio, apparently:
Reverse goatse?
What in God's name would lead a company to believe that a reverse-shot goatse image would sell televisions? Marketing committees had to approve this design, I'm sure. Did someone at the meeting say "Look, we need something that will show our customers that we're hip, on the cutting edge of technology. They've moved beyond pictures of hot air balloons and mountains, and they want pictures looking at beautiful girls from a camera placed deep inside someone's distended rectum?" Really? Really?

Maybe it works because Visio televisions are several hundred dollars less expensive than their nearest competitors, and who cares what's on the box? In any case, I've made all of you look at it, so my work here is done.

Curtains!? I could read something like a giant spider's POV from the bottom of a gift bag looking up through the paper at someone about to get attacked (hence the hesitant expression), maybe, but curtains don't really close at the bottom like that. Gravity and all.

Also, I'm pretty sure I see connective intestinal wall there at the bottom, stretched taut.
