Play update--
Jan. 26th, 2006 12:28 pmMeasure for Measure is about three weeks into rehearsal; we blocked the final scene on Tuesday and have started working scenes in earnest. Yesterday we ran Act II, Scene 1: The Courtroom Scene. There I play my very best defense attorney and get everyone off with a warning. The director said it gave her hope for the rest of the play, which is coming together a little slowly, I guess.
Actually, I think the play is right on track. We open four weeks from tomorrow, and I've put together excellent productions in less time than that. Of course, those productions had shorter running times and we rehearsed nearly every day, but still. Unless something really falls apart, it's going to be an excellent production.
I'll add some images of my 3D set rendering later. Everyone seemed to be duly impressed.
