Another Theatrical Update
Mar. 7th, 2006 02:14 pmThe contracts for Fiddler on The Roof arrived on Saturday, complete with fines for being late to rehearsal or causing a perfomance to be cancelled. In any case it'll be nice to get paid--Amy's and my stipends combined could get a very nice weekend away somewhere.
I've been informed that our previous director has been cast in a going-to-Broadway version of Li'l Abner, so she's dropping our show and the choreography for Urinetown afterward.
Note to any of you imaginary people turning up for this weekend's performance of Measure for Measure: Saturday is the day to come if you don't want to hear the faint strains of a Company rehearsal during the quiet moments of our show. Any other performance you might be subjected to whatever the hell that "Bobby" song is.
