An observation: Flooding.

This morning on the way in to work I noticed that the Wolf River had overflowed its banks and was threatening structures in Memphis proper. Not sure when it's supposed to crest, but if it gets significantly higher things could get interesting. And not the good kind of interesting.

It would have to be a flood of Biblical proportions to reach my house, but it could conceivably cover low-lying roads in town.
