Finished the new James Bond novel the other night--it's not a bad read, for what it is, but there are some character issues which lead to plot holes which leave the reader scratching his head. Having not read any of the Ian Fleming Bond books, I can't say how it compares, but it seems to follow a certain formula that I've seen in the movies; even though this isn't really movie Bond. Next on the list, depeding on which one I can find in the bedroom first, is either Snuff or Oscar Wao

Playing with the new iPhone Google Talk web app, which might be obsolete in a week once downloadable software becomes available. It's pretty nice, but is limited at the moment to other GMail folk. Which is to say, if you're on GMail and for some reason I don't have you set up to chat and you actually do want to chat, drop me a line (my address is on my LJ userinfo page).

Went bowling last night for the first time in probably five years. $10 for two hours of bowling, $8 pitchers of Michelob Amber Bock (or less-savory beers), and I learned to make the ball hook, which makes the game much more interesting when you have that available.

A post in a friend's blog put me in the mind of an upscale restaurant where the waitress asks "Would you care for a little amuse-yeux?" and if you answer in the affirmative, she exposes her breasts.

I'm actually compiling a weekly update this week, which I'm gonna put up before I leave work today. So if anyone has something that they just have to have repeated in condensed format in somebody else's LJ, get posting!
