So the Memphis Grizzlies are looking for a new PA announcer, with auditions next Tuesday and callbacks next Wednesday. I think that such a position would be awesome. Expect a voice post of the audition material in character coming up.

Are the Grizzlies a soccer team? Just wondering. Grizzlies don't seem to be that nimble or fast. They are fierce and they eat salmon, but more in kind of a lumbering way. Will they just plow through the opposing team and swipe them with big 'ol claws? And then rip at their insides with their smelly narling teeth? And I am guessing that there were actually real live grizzlies in Memphis at some point in time. Just thinking out loud.

Good luck with the audition. Try a Spanish accent. The world cup was much more fun to watch on the Spanish channel.

Reading through the audition script, I'm finding amusing things. Beyond what it's gonna sound like when I say TSAKALIDIS.

I'm gonna go all Thurl Ravenscroft on 'em.
