fancycwabs1. Arrived in Hong Kong. Hotel is very nice with towels that are actually worth stealing. I'll take photos soon.
2. Hotel mini bar has Durex condoms (and it looks like a pre-moistened towelette) stocked, along with Hermes orange cologne. Not planning on using the condoms, but I appreciate the common sense that goes into providing them.
3. Boss informed me at 1am this morning (Hong Kong time) that my promotion had finally come through. It's a pretty substantial raise--although for long overseas trips like this it qualifies as a pay cut (as would any raise that didn't double my salary). In any case, no more overtime pay for the cwabs, but it will more than take care of itself in the wash, I think.
4. Free day today--I'm going to try to take worthwhile photos of Hong Kong and environs.
