I've assumed for years that Anna Nicole would either (1) die suddenly while still tabloid fodder or (2) wither away to a tragic old age while clinging desperately to her former "fame".

Looks like option one is the winner.

RIP you hot mess of a woman, I sincerely hope you're at peace now.
