Brain turning to mush
Jan. 30th, 2008 12:55 pmHere it is the 30th of January, and I haven't done anything creative or intellectually stimulating since 2007.
I've got to get to work on some of these back-burner projects. Or find some smart real-life friends.

Date: 2008-01-30 07:36 pm (UTC)When I was younger, in my college and post-college days, before the real start of the internet age, I was fortunate to have the acquaintance of one Eugene Walter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_Walter), and he made a great contribution to my love of intellectual discourse, and the desire to hang with smart folk. Memphis, sadly, has precious few genuinely smart folks (who skip town pretty quickly), and a whole assload of poseurs.
