So tonight we went to see Noises Off at the University of Memphis, and when we came out, someone had broken my car window and stolen my work laptop, cell phone, camera, and a box of checks.

Damn. That stinks. I'm sorry. I haven't read the other comments, I know that your car is insured, so the contents of it would be covered. Crap. The box of checks and cell phone and laptop are scary. I know you've probably already put fraud allerts out and cancelled service to the cell. I am so sorry. I hate it when rotten things happen to good people.
